do they have a chance? i kinda think they do. the spurs have been average at times during the payoffs and the nets have something to prove this year.

The Nets would be pressed to make the playoffs if they played in the West. The Spurs, Kings, Lakers, Mavs, Blazers all are clearly better. The Rockets, T-Wolves, Jazz and Suns would battle the Nets for the remaining spots.

Bottom line: the Nets are in the finals once again by default and how did it work out for them last year?
